We thrilled to share our latest Ofsted Report from our recent inspection in November 2025.

The report uses the new Report Card system, which replaces the previous single-word grading with a more detailed evaluation across key areas of provision.

The published report confirms the nursery met all required standards, with 'Inclusion' assessed as ‘strong’.

Whilst there is no direct link with the old gradings, Ofsted state that reaching 'Expected' in any area is more challenging that the previous 'Good' grades!

Key outtakes from the report

Inspectors highlighted the nursery’s open safeguarding culture and the strong bonds between staff and children.

Inspectors noted that children feel happy and safe and that staff are able to implement effective care practices that meet children’s individual needs.

The nursery’s leadership and curriculum were also judged to meet the expected standard, providing a broad curriculum that supports the children's development. It was noted that the children enjoy the variety of learning opportunities and that all children thrive and make progress from their starting points.

Our directors, Debbie and Georgina, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be one of the first nurseries in Mid Sussex to be inspected under the new Ofsted framework. As one of a handful of locally owned nurseries in the area, it’s reassuring to see the report recognise our Educators focus on wellbeing, safety and creating a nurturing environment where children feel confident and supported. They are a fantastic team”

If you have any questions about any points noted in the report please do feel free to reach out the nursery manager.
